Seasoned with Love, Rooted in Faith
Tatum Spice Co. was born out of a simple question—what are you going to do with all of this? In the middle of the pandemic, our suburban yard had transformed into an overflowing edible landscape, bursting with fresh herbs. As I sat at the dining room table surrounded by fragrant bundles of rosemary, basil, and thyme, my husband’s question sparked an idea.
I began dehydrating and packaging our homegrown herbs, selling them at local events. Then, one day, inspiration struck: what if I could simplify seasoning by blending flavors we already love? Our Original Seasoning Blend was the first, a Father’s Day gift for my husband and father-in-law. It quickly became a favorite—so much so that we couldn’t keep it in stock.
But life has a way of shifting our paths. A move across the state, job loss, and three years of living in a camper while we rebuilt our life put Tatum Spice Co. on pause. Yet, God was not done writing this story. Today, we are relaunching and dreaming bigger because we believe in a bigger purpose: to fill every home with good food and remind people that there is always room at His table.
Our Faith & Mission
At Tatum Spice Co., we believe that good food brings people together.
Our faith isn’t plastered on every jar, but it’s woven into everything we do. We believe in giving back - that’s why a portion of every sale goes directly to grassroots organizations feeding the hungry and helping those in need.
I’m just a simple woman who loves Jesus and loves people through cooking (and spices!). Whether it’s through a meal shared with family or helping someone out, this business is a vessel for God’s provision.
Southern Heritage, Big Flavor
Our spice blends are crafted the way good food should be: bold, balanced, and deeply comforting. Inspired by generations of Southern cooking, we take everyday seasonings to the next level by layering real herbs and spices—no MSG, no fillers, no anti-caking agents. Just pure, real ingredients that make every meal feel like home.
If your seasoning starts clumping together? We get it. We’re from Texas, and humidity happens. Just give it a shake!
Because at the end of the day, food should feel familiar, welcoming, and good for the soul—like a hug wrapped up in a meal.
